WHY IS IRONLAK YOUR WEAPON OF CHOICE?
It covers like butter, has a great color selection and a nice amount of pressure. It’s really good paint and it’s for writers, by writers! How can you beat that?
HISTORY:
In 1994 I was a little kid who knew very basic things about graffiti being from NY, but didn’t really know how to execute it. I had a tag, as did all of my skateboarding crew. The first writer I ever met who really put in any work was a dude who wrote Jeer4 PM (Power Moves) who took me under his wing. He really introduced me to the Bronx graffiti culture, took me out painting good spots for my first time, showed me what he knew about piecing and so forth.
A few years later I met three writers, who by coincidence, were hanging out together for the first time: Ovie, Kerz and Rath. They were the next wave of influential people in my life, learning various things from all of them, painting a lot and just having a good time. From there I joined KD,TNB, and UPS. Years later I got down with COD.
I’m thankful for being fortunate enough to get to paint with all my peers, and learn styles directly from the sources. My style now is a hybrid of the various people and things that have influenced me over the last 15 years.
