"I painting this job for Red Bull on Sunday, which was set in motion after the Red Bull Wreckers Yard. It took eight hours of Red Bull fueled painting terror. I wanted to prove to myself I could do a decent piece quickish (especially after spending a week on that monstrosity with Vans). I tore out the astro caps, a few new yorks and sunk a Red Bull for every hour I was there and lets just say, by the time I flew out there, I actually had wings." -Sofles.

This global arts and community collective project combines an international selection of top galleries with an exciting program of street exhibitions, parties, and crossover events featuring music, film, architecture and design. Primary Flight’s annual event in Wynwood is the world’s largest, multi-site, street-level mural installation. In just three years, Primary Flight has grown quickly from 15 to over 100 artists, the majority of whom travel to Miami for Art Basel. Founders of the street, stencil, graffiti, and skate art movements headline the annual event. Artists collaborate on strategically located walls throughout the Wynwood Art District. Maps outlining the installation are circulated, providing patrons with an opportunity to view street works in process.

IRONLAK ON TV's "RUSH".

We were amused to learn recently that Ironlak cans were spotted in an episode of Australian TV police drama "RUSH".

In this episode the Ironlak cans are used by two 17 year old environmental activists who plant bombs in carparks, spraypainting anti-car propaganda to get their message across.

While being filmed by peers it becomes obvious that they are also "out for fame", sounds like most writers we know. Ha.

While we appreciate the young lads "balls-out" approach to getting their message up, we won't be adding them to the Ironlak Family anytime soon, they need to work on their handstyles!

"Here's a couple of flicks of the first wall I did using just Ironlak. Here in Liverpool there is a shortage of nice clean flat walls, so often I have to make do with some gnarly bricks. The Ironlak covered it no problems, and the piece completely stood off the wall. Pure power colours!

"I always strive to make my pieces bright and make the colours really pop. With this paint it seems to have the thickness combined with the control and strength of pigment that I need, so, nice one! Keep up the good work!" -CASM.

"Here's a small impression of my trip to Bogota, Colombia. I was invited for one of the biggest hip hop festivals of South America called HipHop Al Parque with 50,000 visitors and lots of police!

"The trip was so great. I painted in the ghettos of Las Cruzas with glue sniffing kids walking around, trying to steal your stuff. Luckily I was there with the local guys.

"You can paint every wall you want... It's like a writers paradise!

"I slept in a five-star hotel and another nice detail was that the Escobar family was hiding there during Pablo's last days." - Does. Ironlak Team Europe.

"Some of the TMD crew just returned from a trip to Melbourne over the past weekend and a bit. Ironlak put on a team wall get together and small event at a skate park for all those that had traveled to town for the Clash Of The Titans event. Due to the unfortunate cancellation of the battle, there were a lot of people with tickets booked but nothing to do. Being that writers are adaptive and happy to make their own fun, what followed was an incredible weekend which further strengthened ties between the Australian and New Zealand scenes. A lot of love goes out from TMD to all the peeps from Ironlak, DTS, F1, FLYS, GBAK, RTR, EVERFRESH, the oldschool legends that made it out like SPICE, MERDA, SHEM etc. Also a huge congratulations to SHEM and JORS for an increible exhibition!!! This is the first of a few reports so stay tuned!!"

"Here is a recent wall I painted in Los Angeles with Ewok & Pose. For this wall we decided to take The Exchange project in a slightly different direction. We showed up to the wall all late and with no sketches, our plan was to bounce around and contribute a bit to each piece on the wall.

We decided that each of us will sketch two letters of each others name. What I mean is:

For EWOK - I painted the initial sketch of th E & W, then POSE sketched his O & K

For POSE – EWOK sketched the P & O. Afterward, I stepped in fucking around with my left hand (bad hand), setting out to do the goofiest sketch possible.

It ended up looking really cool in my opinion, but wasn’t right for the wall. So I buffed it our and resketched the S & E
